Jacqueline Cabrera

Before AIAC

Jackie came to AIAC just over a year ago. She had never acted & didn't know where to start but knew she had a burning passion for it. She signed up for individual training and we got to work. Without an agent and barely developing her acting skills we decided to focus on training before seeking representation. She worked really hard. Did lots of practicing and finally came the time when I thought she was ready to audition. So with referrals she reached out to the top agencies in SLC. She had awesome new headshots and was beginning to put together a reel and resume. As it can, it took a while for agents to get back to her. TMG invited her to audition. Which was thrilling. But ultimately, she ended up being a perfect fit with McCarty Talent Agency.

Work Ethic

So now she was being sent out for auditions! She booked one of the first ones they sent her on, a commercial and she knew for more success she'd need to up the ante. So she enrolled in AIAC's Class Plus: 3.5 hours of class a week + a weekly 30 min individual session. That's when things really started taking off for her. She moved from Beginning Level to the Intermediate Level pretty quickly, probably because of her Individual Training.

Booking

She kept booking, a short film here, a commercial there, a print job now and then, all the while working ferociously in class. A few months ago she joined HWC and having collected some really great footage from her bookings she got to show her reel in one of their showcases. This got her set up with a manager in LA!

Jackie's short film The Yellow Room also won the HWC film festival and earned her an honorable mention as best supporting actress in Zepstone Film Festival.

We can't wait to see what's next for Jackie.
