Apply To Train
Thank you for your interest in AIAC's Actor Training
Now Accepting New Students!
During the interview, we’ll share feedback on your audition—which, as you know, is a rare commodity in the acting world and worth the application process all on its own! We’ll also discuss your acting goals, answer any questions about AIAC training, and determine if we’re the right fit for each other.
We offer a variety of audition sides, ranging from shorter to longer scenes. Choose the one that feels most comfortable for you—we want you to shine!
The Four Steps of Our Application Process:
- Select your sides
- Shoot your self-tape
- Fill out application form/Upload your tape
- Schedule your interview
See details below.
1. Select Your Sides
Choose your sides from our collection in the link below. As mentioned earlier, some are longer, while others are shorter—pick whichever feels most comfortable for you.
Select a role that resonates with you. Whether you thrive in comedy, drama, or something in between, we have a variety of scenes to choose from.
Don’t overthink it—trust your instincts. We can’t wait to see you bring the scene to life!

2. Shoot Your Self-Tape
Once you’ve selected your sides and are ready to record your self-tape, here are a few industry-standard audition tips we recommend:
- Shoot your tape horizontally, not vertically.
- Ensure you have good lighting so we can see you clearly.
- Make sure we can hear you clearly—audio is just as important as video.
- Use a tripod to keep your phone steady.
- Tape in front of a simple background, free from distractions—a blank wall works perfectly.
- Slate your first and last name, along with your location. If you are under 18, please also include your age.
- Place your slate at the end of your audition (this is known as a tail slate).

3. Upload your Audition!
Click the button below to access our application form. You’ll answer a few questions to help us get to know you better and upload your tape—all in one place.
Please label your audition with your first and last name, character name and the name of the project. Example: Chris Hemsworth_Dr. Manning_Chicago Med
4. Schedule Your One-On-One
Once we have received and reviewed your audition, we will email you a link to schedule your one-on-one interview.
This interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you—and for you to get to know us. We’ll discuss your acting journey, provide valuable feedback on your audition, and highlight both your strengths and areas for improvement to help you become more bookable. Since actors rarely receive feedback on their auditions, we want to ensure you gain insights that can truly support your growth.
We’ll also answer any questions you have about AIAC, our training, and the acting industry. If you’re wondering where you might best fit in the industry or how to navigate your career path, this is the perfect time to ask.
We’re looking for dedicated actors who are serious about building a career—those who understand the effort, resilience, and determination it takes to succeed in this industry.
We’re excited to hear from you and look forward to helping you on your journey!
It's time to unleash your full acting potential.
