Fundamentals of Improv Ongoing Classes – $105 a month
AIACis proud to present FUNDAMENTALS OF IMPROV with Chris Last. In this ultimate beginner to intermediate improv course, we train for the three basic relationships of improv: relationships to other improvisers, relationship to the stage, and relationship to the format. In this ongoing course we focus on the acquisition of new skills—not merely exposure to them. Successful graduation from this course is a prerequisite for the Level 2 Course ADVANCED SCENE PLAY. Classes are 2 hours in length on Thursday Evenings from 7pm to 9pm at Lightree Studios. Currently enrolled AIAC Students receive 50% off this class.

Chris Last

Chris Last is an improviser and improv teacher, living in the Greater Salt Lake City area. He started improvising with Unexpected Productions where he worked as an ensemble member and teacher for 5 years (2016-2020). Since moving to Utah in 2020, Chris has performed with ImprovBroadway, ComedySportz Provo, and The Improvables. He taught improv at Regalo Theater (2023-2024). He is currently part of the Salt Lake City improv group, D’arcy, and he is a performer, teacher, and director with Improv Salt Lake.

Chris also loves acting. He played Albert Kummer in Dear Ruth with Sugar Factory, West Jordan, UT (2020). He played the D’Ysquith Family (9 characters) twice in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder–first with The Empress Theatre, Magna, UT (2022), and later with Regalo Theater, Lehi, UT (2023). He played Jack Worthing in the Importance of Being Earnest with Parker Theater, Salt Lake City, UT (2024).

 

 

 

Chris Last is currently assembling an improv ensemble class Last Laugh Improv which will be performing weekly in the Scaffold Theatre at Lightree Studios.
